Washing Your Extensions

  • Always detangle gently before washing, starting from ends to roots.
  • Use lukewarm water and apply a sulfate-free shampoo.
  • Massage the shampoo in a downward motion — never rub or twist.
  • Rinse thoroughly and follow with a deep conditioner, leaving it for 5–10 minutes.
  • Avoid placing conditioner near the bonds or roots.

Drying & Brushing

  • Gently towel dry (no rubbing) and allow to air dry whenever possible.
  • Use a wide-tooth comb or soft extension brush — start from the ends.
  • Blow-dry on low heat only, keeping heat tools away from the bonds.

Styling & Heat Use

  • Always apply heat protection spray before styling.
  • Use flat irons, curlers, and dryers only on low to medium heat.
  • Regular use of heat tools can shorten the life of your extensions.

Swimming & Sleeping

  • Avoid pools, spas, and salt water — chlorine and salt can damage hair.
  • Never sleep with wet hair. Braid or tie it in a loose ponytail before bed.
  • Use a silk or satin pillowcase to reduce friction.

What to Avoid

  • No oil-based products at the roots or bonds.
  • No dry shampoo, purple shampoo, or silver shampoo unless advised by a professional.
  • Avoid heavy sprays, serums, or products that cause build-up.
  • Do not expose hair to direct heat (e.g. fireplaces, steam) for long periods.
  • Avoid leaving hair extensions wet for long hours.
